i was listening to pandora and and devildriver came on and i was like, this sounds a heck of a lot like coal chamber....and sure enough its the same singer....

apparently he still wanted all of his songs to sound exactly the same and the rest of coal chamber wanted to be different. so he left and he found some guys that promised to make sure all of their songs sound exactly the same.

and now we have devildriver aka "coal chamber 2" but not really cuz it sounds just like "coal chamber 1"

the other thing that ran through my mind was ....wow coal chamber wasn't good.

Just take two random words and stick 'em together and you've got a band name that somebody's already taken.

I just assumed they were terrible metal bands.

You can generally figure out the style of music by a band's name.

I agree with that one. I used to work with a girl who loved bands like Coal Chamber. That style of music is awful, IMO.

the first coal chamber album was top notch...loco, big truck, and sway all good tunes...

coal chamber sucks, end of story
