I was unable to print them out. When I downloaded the printer it told me that I had already printed my coupons. Oh well, after reading about the problems everywhere it doesn't seem like it's worth the time anyway.

I got the free meal yesterday, the grilled chicken was actually pretty good. Just kind of weird to sell in at Kentucky FRIED Chicken.

I dont know a lot about KFC...I'm guessing they are a franchise and not corporate? I say that b/c I hear of certain KFC's not taking the coupon which I find interesting

There are some places not taking the coupon because they ran out of grilled chicken, from what I've heard. And there was a sit in at one KFC when the manager announced that they wouldn't be taking the coupon any more.

I printed out a few coupons, then thought better about actually trying to redeem them. I don't want any part of this mess.

Went by KFC today and saw a sign on the door saying that they weren't honoring the coupons any more.
KFC underestimated the draw that Oprah could be. They had no clue how many people would be printing the max number of coupons allowed, and they were caught unprepared. Perfect example of a promotion that worked too well -- and could end up hurting KFC.

If I was a franchise owner, I would not be happy with Oprah and corporate. It was a ridiculous promotion. For a while there was actually a PDF of the coupon, which I saved from Oprah's site. It can be printed an unlimited number of times. Of course, with the new rain check coupons KFC started issuing, it's essentially one per person now.

I just hope they don't get some sort of government bailout over this.
Long live Bojangles and Chick-fil-a.

If the goal was to get people to try the new grilled chicken, they should have only had one coupon per person. We printed out four of the things before it told us we couldn't have any more. I'm not sure it was Oprah's fault -- KFC corporate didn't think.
