I thought I would give my thoughts on this new release for those of you who like Jars.

I just picked this up yesterday, and my first couple of listens have me believing this may be their best yet. I love "If I left the Zoo" but this one may be close to rivaling it. It still sounds very typical Jars, but it has some seriously new sounds mixed in. They have matured musically over the years clearly. I can't stop listening to it. My favorite is "Heaven" followed by "Closer" and "Boys (lesson one).

Here is an interview with the boys on the theme of the release:

name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="
" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

There are a few clips from the album on their Myspace page but not my favorite: http://www.myspace.com/jarsofclay

I can't figure this board out on music. I did the poll on music preference, and it seemed like there were tons of you who liked music in the Jars genre, but then me and one other person care about the new CD. HMMM
