but if it is posted let me know... How about this Miss America chic talking about gay people and losing because of her Biblical stand! Im proud of her! However after seeing her in a bikini, I completely understand the lesbian stance on things. :D

I know most of us are conservatives, but does anyone agree with what happened?

the funny thing, is her stance on the issue (personally believing that marriage should be between a man and a woman) is the same stance as Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton... basically any prominent Democrat (and Republican, for that matter).

That was a ridiculous question and Hilton should apologize publicly. To give her that question and then the winner get asked about the bailout? What a joke!!

the funny thing is that miss north carolina's question: "do you think tax payer money should be used for bailing out the banks?" wow, that is hard :D

I think it was an appropriate question to ask a California resident. It was supposed to be a softball (Hilton was expecting a rote 'let anyone marry anyone'), it just didn't turn out that way.

I'm proud of her, and I applaud her courage to give an honest answer and not worry about giving a 'PC' answer. I have to admit when I first saw the story, I originally thought she was in favor of gay marriage.... an assumption on my part because after all she was Ms. California. :?

Good for her for standing up for what she believes. Perez should've been prepared that not everyone in/from California will agree with him (See: Proposition 8 ). Also, if it cost her the crown, it should've been for sounding like a natural blonde on stage (but much better than Miss South Carolina) and not the stance she took. And, with that said, Miss North Carolina definitely looked better...GRITS rule.

She should have said "I'm for world peace!" "We need to quit polluting." "I love cute little puppies." Just a few examples of winning answers.

So she was scheduled to speak in convo today. I'm guessing that's why none of the Lunatics are posting.

Nope, watched her part on IPTV.

I was telling people all morning that Jr has been trying to get her to transfer. I had no inside information, I just know how he is.

No, it's the scholarship that was given to the girls that prayed at Graduation and a few others that stood up for liberty

Like HMO said, it started with the girls at graduation, then they offered it to someone else last year who did something to stand up for our beliefs, and now they're offering it to this chick. She apparently met with the provost this morning to see what all would need to be done to transfer. She's a junior so I can't really see it happening unless she's wanting to go to grad school. Either way, it'd be pretty cool if she did.

Apparently she may be losing her Miss California crown because of some topless photos she took a while back. I saw one of the photos and shows her from behind in her underwear so I don't see that it's such a big deal but it might still cost her.
