Interesting, let's see if it actually happens. Much like the guy who wanted to build a city as the world's larget boat.

Coming soon to the Sunshine State: the sunshine city.

An NFL lineman turned visionary developer today is unveiling startlingly ambitious plans for a solar-powered city of tomorrow in southwest Florida's outback, featuring the world's largest photovoltaic solar plant, a truly smart power grid, recharging stations for electric vehicles and a variety of other green innovations. The community of Babcock Ranch is designed to break new frontiers in sustainable development, quite a shift for a state that has never been sustainable, and lately hasn't had much development.
And what virtual tour would be complete without people on segways? And a giant sundial, to show us just how primitive they would like the US to become.

Obama laughs at him.............& farts in his general direction.
Obama May Block Sun's Rays to End Global Warming

One such extreme option includes shooting pollution particles into the upper atmosphere to reflect the sun's rays.

I think we discussed this before, but I lived down there for a while, too.

SWFL always seems to try and do big things, but nothing ever happens. At least we got baseball back to Charlotte County...

I actually did hear that, which is pretty cool I suppose.

I went to Sallie Jones Elementary, PG Middle, and Charlotte High as a kid. Actually lived on the other side of the bridge tho.

Small world huh? I lived off of Airport Road in P.G. and resided in P.C. for awhile too.
