Hey just wanted to let you all know that elections for student body President and Vice President are coming up this friday from 8 AM to 6 PM. You can log in on blackboard to vote.
THe candidates I think would do the Best job for Liberty are Michael Desmond for President and Taylor Webb for Vice Prez. Both are prayer leaders and are members of honor societies and both hold 4.0 GPAs--meaning they do good work.
For more informaiton on the campaign check out their facebook page at
They will also have a table in the back hall of DeMoss all week.

lol. SGA is useless. It's not even a good resume builder.

Being a prayer leader should be an automatic disqualifier. That's like running for president based on your mad "community organizer" skillz.

Interviewer: "So I see you were SGA president."
SGA Guy: "That's correct, sir."
Interviewer: "And how do you think that experience has prepared you for being a sandwich artist?"

The LU alum who was in Congress was student president one year, if I remember things right. Now that I think about it, he may have lost. I can't remember. But it was pretty much his life goal to be in government, so I would expect someone like that to want to be the SGA president.

I'm a senior and I'll be gone in a month, I'd appreciate it if these idiots would not shove papers in my face when I'm trying to walk through the halls to and from class. And the freakin techno dance party music got old real fast.

Maybe you should wear a shirt or hat that says "Senior" on it, so they'll know.

Ben, get over your self-righteous, Christianity-discouraging self. You had nothing to do with it, first of all. Secondly, I received an email of apology from LU's administration, at which point I was re-admitted into the elections.
If you have anything else to say about it, I'd be more than happy to speak with you in person concerning this matter, as your tendency to lurk around on FlameFans forums spreading lies that compromise my reputation is not appreciated in the least bit.
Feel free to message me a time and place where you would like to meet.

one of someones representatives almost got punched in the face. the hall is meant for walking in, not standing in creating a traffic jam with loud music.

I was a prayer leader as well. And the year Chris Gaumer won shows that the SGA elections are really a comedy reality show final episode where you pick the funniest one as the winner.
