Its a few years old, but anyone else seen this?

its about the Donkey Kong world record being set 20 some years ago and some other guy who gets laid off from work and feels like he has never amounted to anything so he sets out to break the world record of Donkey Kong and in so doing totally ticks off the previous record holder. Its actually pretty good.

I've seen it a few times. I've read that the movie really angled everything to make Steve look like he was getting disrespected and Billy look like an evil villan. I suppose that's what made it entertaining. My favorite part of the movie is when that little d***** Brian Kuh is walking around letting everybody know about the potential kill screen coming up. That guy is the biggest loser in a movie about losers.

i was laughing the whole time, just at how serious some of the people take it, the fact that walter wore a referee uniform for like the entire movie, and then when wiebe finds out about the world record book, they kick in the eye of the tiger music. it was too much

Is this the same movie they play on G4 TV all the time? If so then yes, I've seen it. Ridiculous how into it these people get.
Now enough of this, back to WoW.

I just finished watching King of Kong and I loved it. The funniest part was in the special features when they interviewed Mister Awesome. He unleashed a few details about his private life that I could have gone without hearing.

looks like Steve is going to try to break the record tomorrow at E3.
On a side note it looks like d----- has been bleeped per my post above. For as uncomfortable as that seemed to make Sly, it sure took him long enough to get it filtered.

I don't know when. But it wasn't like that when I wrote it. So it happened between March and now.

I thought that at the end of the movie, it showed that steve did break the record. Is this just for the Live record or what?

Steve broke the record in the movie but Billy ended up beating the record again. Steve's trying to beat Billy's new record today.

Funny. I just watched this on Netflix streaming a couple of weeks ago. Didn't expect to see it pop up on FlameFans.
Agreed on Brian Kuh. I could laugh over and over again at that guy.
I also wonder if Billy's wing sauce is as serious as he is.

Apparently Wiebe was on his last attempt and well on his way to setting the new world record and the power went out on the machine and he had to start over, He ended up coming up short by about 700,000 points
