basic jist of them:

howie long points out something about a competitive truck that is innovative and clever. he makes fun of it.

then says something that has nothing to do with anything about the chevy truck.

"heh, your truck has a heated steering wheel? heh, my truck gets 21 mpg"

"hey, your truck has a man step? heh, my truck has a 100,000 mile warranty"

basically, "while the other companies are inventing things that make your life easier our engineers are busy updating their resumes"

I cannot figure out why he asks the Toyota guy what mpg he gets and then says v8? It would have made much more sense to tell us the inferior amount of cylinders and then the inferior gas mileage.

the traverse commercials are really stupid....."history of reliabilty and the best resale values in the industry? pssshhh...the traverse has .03 cubic ft more space and not only seats 7 but seats 8"

The main problem i have with the man step is that if you look at any working mans truck the bed is usually destroyed and packed with dirt and mud from a life of work. The man step will probably just get broken off if the guy is actually hauling anything. For the weekend warrior who will only carry some wood from lowes and occasionally some furniture then it should stay intact.

its not a bad idea though, trucks get higher and higher every year.

this is true and before this economic downturn alot of people who drove trucks never used them for their design, im guilty of this, but as the economy continues its spiral the people who are buying trucks are the ones who actually need them for their livelihood
