I've got a $2000 scholorship for LU if anyone wants it. The school sends it to all the alumni to pass out to prospective students. I'm not sure if you can use it or not if already enrolled, but I'd be more than happy to let someone have it. Just let me know.

LU students pretty much get this anyways with a little research. If you call financial aid and don't know an alum, they give you a name to put on your form.
That being said, if Dom plans on coming here in a couple years, he could use your name and save the hassle of calling financial aid.
DC4LU, you probably already have this scholarship, and if you don't I don't think you can add it at this point. Not sure tho.

Is it taken yet? I'm really considering coming to LU next year (I'll be an sophomore), and am looking for as much scholarships as possible...how would I go about getting this?

All it is is a form that asks you for the name and address of a Liberty Alum. You fill it out, you get the scholarship.

You can get the Alumni scholarship, no problem. You will also be able to get the Champion Scholarship, which is $8,000, payable over 4 years.

If anyone has a 3.50 GPA with less than 60 hours, you should consider applying for the Honors Program scholarship of $3,750.

I have a higher GPA than a 3.5, but I couldn't quite get my SAT scores high enough to qualify for the Honors Program.

For transfers, we look at college GPA, not SAT/ACT scores. You should apply--the deadline is April 20th.
