Has anyone ever paid attention to this guy? I've seen bits and pieces before and thought it was funny, but after watching his stand up special on Comedy Central, I'm hooked. This dude is hilarious.
(Yes, I know some people on here are gonna be too cool to laugh at him, but that's to be expected.)

I haven't seen his stand up, but he's always made me laugh on the late night shows.

I was channel flipping and came across his show on CS and ended up watching for about 20 minutes. Take out the bleeper and his act is definately R rated, and the content is pretty raunchy anyway, but I laughed, and I didn't change the channel. He is a talent. If you don't know who he is, he looks like this.
In the CS show he had on Jack Sparrow eye makeup, which made him look more bizarre. He has a cockney accent, and I thought some of his funniest stuff was when he imitated someone American and switched back and forth between accents.

He is by no means G-rated. I love English comedy and he pulls it off great. The bit he did on the death threats was hilarious.

Whoa, really? Dane Cook may be the most annoying person on the planet. After watching one stand up special from Russell Brand, I don't get that vibe. Then again, I haven't seen his movies/interviews.

I agree, everything I've seen/heard from Izzard is brilliant. Which reminds me, I still need to see Valkyrie.

listened to a certain Sirius shock jock interview Brand the other morning. Hilarious.
the guy is a mess, no doubt. He may have led the most screwed up childhood/teenage life I've ever heard of, though.
