Fast food giants clash. The place that invented fast food against the place that invented the chicken sandwich.
So which do you think, overall, is a better place to eat?
Take into consideration:
Value
Taste
Atmohsphere
Service
and anything else that would make a place a more desirable eating destination.

I don't like whatever the seasoning is that they use on everything. I tried- I really did. At least 5 or 6 times.
just can't do it anymore.
And my kids would bleed for the other place.

All you have to do is compare the Chick-fil-a chicken sandwich to the Southern Style chicken at McDonalds. Obviously one is a knock off, but it's more of a comparison of core differences. The McD's sandwich is filled with gristle and connective tissue. chickfila's is just pure white meat goodness.

Chic-Fil-A is one of my favorite fast food places and takes this one easily. By the way, the McGriddle is one of the grossest things I've ever consumed.

To each his own. A friend and I were doing a construction project one Saturday when he told me he'd swing by McDonald's on the way and pick up some breakfast. Of course, it was McGriddles which he loves and I'd never had before. Something about it was just plain gross to me.

I don't mind McD's chicken sandwich and biscuit nearly as much as others have (we only have one CFA up here, and it's not convenient to get to most of the time, so I have to make do with the knock-off). If given a choice, it's Chic Fil A every time.
I've actually been to the original CFA. When we lived outside of Atlanta, we would eat at the CFA Dwarf House in Morrow a lot.
{eta}And I love McGriddles. I've always eaten my McD's Big Breakfast all mixed together, so it's always seemed like a logical next step.

yeah but this isnt which chicken sandwhich do you like more, its which is better. Chick Fil A has great chicken, their sandwhich is the best fast food has to offer, but thats it. Their chicken is good but thats all they hae. Mcdonalds has Chicken, Burgers, Fish(though id never eat it), Mcflurries, etc. Its easier to keep multiple people happy with mcdonalds than at chick fil a, just because of the larger selection, thats the only reason i voted mcdonalds. But I do love the chick fil a sandwich

I was rather surprised to not see CFA be a top seed. The results thus far are backing my hunch.

+waffle fries, chicken sandwiches, strips, & nuggets, and milk shakes; even their carrot/raisin salad is good.
McDonalds is only for kids (and kids who grow up to be construction workers).

I would like all those that have not voted yet to consider this.
Have you looked at the people that cook your food, Chic-Fil-A, while no pagent queens, is clearly a step above Donald's.
The service time is something else to consider. Chic-Fil-A has your sandwhich and drink to you faster than you can order it.
And finally IT is these few words that make me feel very important at Chic-Fil-A, MY PLEASURE.
IF you vote for Donald's, your are showing your true Honkyness, and desire for cheap at any cost food.
P.S. I will Join the honkiness, I eat at Donalds more than I do the chicken joint.

I actually like the Southern Style chicken sandwich at McDonald's better than CFA's, although McDonald's only offers lite mayo, which is criminal. They use the steamed bun like they do with the fish filet, and that makes a huge difference. I eat at both of these places a lot, as do most people with kids, and CFA has the better service, and McDonald's keeps ticking me off with their menu changes, but I've got to give the nod to the arches.
On a side note:
Has anyone else noticed how many McDonald's try to rip you off in regards to the Southern Style chicken meal? The actual chicken sandwich is 10-20 cents less than a Big Mac or Quarter-Pounder, but the chicken sandwich meal costs about 30-40 cents more than the Big Mac or Quarter Pounder meal. This makes no sense. I brought it up to a manager once, and they could care less, probably never even realized it. Just something that irritates me.
