Fast "Mexican" food, or simple American food? 79 cent nachos or 8 dollar burgers? You decide.

So which do you think, overall, is a better place to eat?

Take into consideration:

Value
Taste
Atmohsphere
Service

and anything else that would make a place a more desirable eating destination.

I love me some Taco Bell. Ruby Tuesday's is just blah

Take away value and this wouldn't even be a choice. But that factor swings this hard toward the Bell.

I am waiting to hear SJ's descriptive vote in this one in light of his CiCis take.

I'm 100% with you there Sly! Ruby's is a bad value for the price and little ammount of grub.
Again I eat 2 soft tacos and 1 bean burrito for $3.5. Cheap lunch!

Taco Bell wins with the blue Mt. Dew alone.

A year ago, this would have been Ruby Tuesday's. Today, Taco Bell.

I went with Taco Bell. It doesn't mess me up nearly as bad as Cici's. I guess I have a tolerance for it.

I liked Ruby Tuesday a few years back (3-4) before they started changing the menu.

blue mt. dew is gross...a disgrace to the mountain dew family....but that still doesn't change the fact that Taco Bell is my favorite fast food restaurant...Ruby Tuesday's use to be really good...but it has gone downhill

It's not 89 cents anymore. At least it's not here. Is it still 89 cents in the burg?

Last time I went to taco bell, I ordered two of them, and the lady said "they're not 89 cents anymore". My heart was crushed.

I still bought them even at 1.59.

They are most certainly 89 cents here. Big Taste Tacos are 99 cents. Nothing else is worth buying.... well. That's not true. But why get anything else?

I went to a Taco Bell in Kentucky that had 4 items under each price category.

Big Taste Taco and Cheesy Double Beef both 89 cents

Crunchy taco 79 cents

1/2 Pound beef combo burrito 99 cents

I considered living there, but it would be a long commute to school.

Is it closer to High Point? They have sex there. And Valet Parking.

Taco Bell wins here for me even though I do like Ruby Tuesday. Nothing beats the Mexican Pizza for me. Of course, I love 10+ things on the Taco Bell menu.

What is this Big Taste Taco you speak of?

Taco Bell got rid of my two favorite things: the double stuffed soft taco and the grande quesadilla. I loved those things. I don't eat there nearly as much now.

I don't even like 95% of taco bell's menu becauses I don't like Mexican food, but taco bell gets my vote because that mt. dew is heavenly.

The Big Taste Taco is a soft taco with ground beef, cheese, red crispy tortilla strips, jalapeno sauce (sorta like whats on the quesadilla), and lettuce.

It's freaking amazing.

I love Taco Bell...I would get the same thing from there every Sunday on the way into work last fall
