This is the yet another of the play in games... and it matches up two more well known establishments...

So which do you think, overall, is a better place to eat? Better ingredients, better pizza? or the all night "diner" with the simple yet quick menu?

Take into consideration:

Value
Taste
Atmohsphere
Service

and anything else that would make a place a more desirable eating destination.

I'm not a Papa Johns fan. Not a huge Steak N Shake fan but it's a lot better than Papa Johns.

I don't like Papa John's very much so Steak 'n Shake wins even though I'm not a huge fan.

I'm surprised so many people don't like PJ. Of the major chains, that's my favorite pizza place.

I get that but choosing any one of the big three isn't saying a whole lot.

Love Papa Johns. Steak N' Shake is disgusting.

This should be a landslide. You guys are nuts.

i would rather eat goat droppings than a steak and shake burger. ehh. horrible. it's like eating a piece of paper colored like a hamburger, in between two buns.

PJ has good deals, good pizza and ... isn't steak and shake.

I'm curious where all of the bad experiences from Steak 'N Shake come from. I've been eating there all my life and I can't recall a bad experience. The burgers may be thin but they are tasty. And the fries and shakes are solid.

Papa Johns is the epitome of mediocrity.

Easy choice.

I like Papa John's pizza (we get them every year when we go to Myrtle Beach -- it's the standard food of the day we arrive at the beach), but they don't have banana milkshakes. Steak and Shake does. And they rock.

End of story.

Never had Steak and Shake, and Papa John's makes the best pizza of any of the big pizza chains (though in Papa John's v. Pizza Hut, it'll be tough to vote against the stuffed crust pizza).

Papa John's has my vote.

Papa John's pizza is just average. It may be the best of the big chains, but that doesn't make it good. Steak n Shake rules
