I am going to Circuit City tomorrow in Greensboro. Any brands to stay away from and the all important question..... LCD or Plasma?

I got the 42" Plasma and absolutely love it.

So Pioneer is quitting the TV business, and these guys see that as a sign that plasma TV's are going the way of the dodo. That would be too bad.

ALUmnus wrote:http://newteevee.com/2009/02/21/pioneer ... lasma-era/no unfortunately i think its a sign that pioneer has lost its appeal as a name brand product. their sales were terrible because as great as their tv's were, most people generally associate pioneer with junk. not top end. like if all of the sudden sanyo made the greatest plasma in the world and was one of the most expensive. most would be hard pressed plop down the money for it.
