Just my observation, here...
...but NOTHING seems to energize and unite the GOP like being the minority party. Unanimous "no" vote by the GOP in the house on the stimulus package.
It is actually being in power that they seem to lose their way.

Yep, as the saying goes:
Absolute power corrupts absolutely. When the Republicans controlled the White House and both houses, deficit spending soared and government expanded by leaps and bounds, thus breaking Newt's "Contract with America."

I am glad that the House Republicans are starting to grow a spine. It has been a long time coming. They are going to need that over the next four years. The trash that the obamunists have coming down the pipe has to be stopped.
Actually, I believe McCain has been saying he'll vote against it. He's the biggest RINO of them all. Although since he hasn't actually voted yet, I'm sure he'll find a reason when it's crunch time.

I'd be surprised if McCain votes for the "mega spending, debt producing, anti-stimulus" bill that will be presented. You can count on McCain to fight PORK and this is one big fat hog of a bill that they are trying to push through.
