out of curiosity how did they find out the girl was saying, "i love you" and reaching out to her mother?? sounds like a made up story to emotionally appeal to the jury when all they really had to do was show a picture of the girl...this is a horrible, horrible things...nothing surprises me anymore

My understanding is that it came out in the questioning of the mother so by all accounts was a disaster waiting to occur.

This has been the big story down here and she will get life and the judge can choose to override the DA's decision to not go for death. But I get the feeling that won't happen.
