Just got back from seeing Slumdog Millionaire and thought it was very good. Anybody else seen it? I would highly recommend it.

I just wish Hollywood would make family friendly movies of quality. I know they have there share of family flicks, but the acting and story lines are abyssmal...with the exception of a few animated flicks, which I don't particularly care for. It's just a shame a family can't see a decent movie anymore.

I'll admit I don't know much about Slumdog but the storyline for the "The Reader", another Oscar pick, is just despicable.

Nothing new here, it just saddens me that this is all Hollywood can produce anymore. Thank goodness for Turner Classic Movies.
