So, enjoy that and don't embed anything we'll have to ban you for.

You've got me, man. I just loaded it up in Firefox on a Mac and a PC and it seemed to work fine on both.
Are you using ad blocking software by any chance? Sometimes the ad blockers knock out flash videos accidentally thinking they're flash-based ads.

Nah. Embeddeding videos uses no more of our resources than a regular post would. All of the storage, bandwidth, etc. is coming from YouTube's side.
I did think that with all the donations I could make a few tweaks, though. This was one of them.
Do you normally have problems viewing video on YouTube? Got the latest version of Flash?
I've checked it in IE7, Firefox (on a Mac and a PC) and in Safari. They all seem to work okay for me.

Scorcho...I can watch You tube videos, I have the latest version of flash, most updated version of Firefox and still can not see anything.
FYI...I tried in IE as well, and same thing.
I am baffled

When this thread was first started I could see the embedded videos. Now it's just lines of script.

So let me get this straight, earlier in the week we crash the site, and now we're going to be adding video embedding? Won't this hurt our bandwith?

It's still the same. I can view the YouTube videos when I hit reply and scroll through the previous messages. I have other message boards where I can view the embedded YouTube videos. I have tried Firefox and IE.

I'm trying to reproduce the problem some of you are having, but I just can't seem to make it happen so far. I'll keep trying.

Is there anything I can do to help you? Give you any more info?
