I checked our archives and El Scorcho mentioned this, but nothing really came of it. This is too awesome to be ignored.

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="

LUconn, I wish you couldve seen these acts live back in the day.

(I saw Petra live at Trenton's War Memorial Theater back in 85 or 86 and it was just as fantastic as that video seems)

here's another gem:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="
name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="
" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

The D&K video was classic. That was one of the songs they played at their concert at EC Glass where they "discovered" dcTalk who opened up for them that night.

I miss the cheesy, loud music of the '80s. No pretentions whatsoever. Musicians today tend to take themselves too seriously.

Stryper is so freaking awesome. I question their use of subtitles though. Were those stuck in there so that parent's in the 80s would allow their children to listen to them?

If you run the video in reverse you can actually read what the backmasking says.
