haha...yeah, it was a joke because a lot of people say it's a cake walk.
I went through but I finished up a few years ago...it's a good program if you're sure that's what you want to go into....if not I'd do communications with a SMGT minor or Business or whatever else you want and minor in it...if you're not sure Sports is without a doubt your future then do it, you're thoroughly enjoy it...but real life is key with this business...do as many internships and practicums (sp?) as possible...even if you dont get credit for it, ask any sports franchise/school or whoever if you can just help out on game day, in the office, or whatever else you can just to be around it. It's a different world, different lingo different everything that a classroom just cant teach you

I took all of them. I was a coaching minor. I took Intro, Coaching Football, Coaching Basketball, Sport Psych, and the other things involved with the minor. They've changed up a few though. Instead of just intro to coaching they've changed it to two classes, one for spring sports and one for fall sports.

Just curious, Super--are there any coaching classes at LU at the graduate school level?

Not right now. They were planning on adding Coaching as a directive when they added the SMGT graduate program but they haven't added the program yet. It was going to be Sport Business, Sport Ministry, and Coaching as the three directives you could take.
