Here are the nominations for this year's Weblog Awards. It's for all the geeks who are addicted to blogs. I read maybe one or two out of all of these.

When are they going to have a sports message board award, and how can we get nominated? I know they have it for music fan sites and message boards.

If you produce a blog...and advertise it on a message board...then never update it...does it even exist?

One of those deep philisophical questions in the 21st century

The only blogs I read regularly are:
American Thinker
Challies.com
Others that I go to frequently but not all the time:
Redstate.com
Decapolis.com
albertmohler.com
Deadspin
Awful Announcing
Counterterrorismblog.org
scotusblog.com
theresurgence.com
and a few Lost blogs (sledgeweb, lost-media.com)
And though I would never dare venture there myself, I would highly recommend guardyourpants.
And with that I have met my 2008 flamefans goal and have entered into the inferno.

I'm pretty sure drudge has more hits than any blog noted on the list yet they are not included.

I wouldn't consider Drudge a blog. It's just a page full of links, to either news stories/headlines or news sources.

Probably right. Drudge does write his own stuff occasionally but not often. I mentioned it because both Politico and Town Hall were included, but not Drudge.

Really? But it's so boring.
