About midnight last night the oil for our furnace ran out. The oil people were supposed to fill it up yesterday but didn't. I hope they come today. It would pretty much suck if they didn't. That's all.

We were without our furnace for all of November...I feel your pain.
Lucky for us it's a blistering 29 degrees here today. Up from single digits last night.

you all have nothing to complain about. Sunday we had a high of -29 degrees. Our high for the week is supposed to be 3. Yesterday it was 1 degrees out and i was able to go outside and feel warm because of the day before when it was around -40 all day.

We were so poor in 73 in Lynchburg, we could not afford heating oil. Only heat we had for the whole house was our gas stove. We would wake up in the morning with ice sickles in the house. Only thru the grace of God we survived.

I recommend space heaters and open flame. The more the better.
What could go wrong?

While cooking your frozen Christmas turkey, in a deep frier....indoors...I promise, there will be plenty of heat to keep you warm!

Funny, we get the heat back on and all of that, and now it's in the 60's. It's Christmas day and I'm in shorts and a t-shirt. That's awesome.
