Is this the worst commercial ever? Tell me I'm not the only one who sees this commercial everyday and thinks they got the weirdest looking dude ever to play the main part. The first time I saw it I thought it was a foreign commercial dubbed in English.

That's the first time I've seen it. Dude is goofy lookin.

The guy looks more like a professor than a businessman (did I just say that?).

So am I to assume this is a Skype competitor? Honestly I hadn't heard of it.

really. Apparently I'm the only one who's ever heard of it. I get berated with this commercial a couple times a day.

I had never seen that spot.

Incidentally it was extremely poor casting. I have hard time believing the cute kid could be his daughter.

My thoughts exactly, Sly. The kid is probably adopted.

Maybe the mailman was better looking...

Now, now Sly. Having seen a few pics of your family, we know why YOUR kids are cute. The guy just "outkicked his coverage".

Oh, come on. That commercial can't be worse than anything that runs on the Liberty Channel.

By the way, what's that commercial supposed to convey? Buy our service and your annoying daughter will be able to bug you at the most inopportune times?

I think I know that guys brother and his daughter is adorable! I think it does convey don't get our service or your wife who thinks she is more important than anything will call you and you will HAVE to answer or she will beat you when you get home.

It's better with video than Skype, but it hasn't taken off like Skype did. I know very few people who use it, though they're all happy with it.
