Capital Punishment discussion

Whoever decided that Coke products should switch from the 20oz to the 16oz bottles needs to be put down. To me, this guy is right up there with rapists and whoever invented email spam. Every time I go to grab a bottle I see the tiny thing and just get so angry. Give me my 4 ounces back! The skirts who cant handle 20oz can get a can.

problem #1: you're drinking coke :)

I'm actually drinking coke products. But don't even try to turn this into a coke vs pepsi thing. We're talking about putting a man out of our misery here.

They didn't do it because someone couldn't handle 20oz. They did it so they could still charge the same price but give less instead of jacking the price up on a 20oz.

Thank God both sweet tea and water come in all sizes. :pray

Coke? Pepsi? I never drink either one. But I will drink a root beer every now and then.

Actually, I think they did it so they could keep the price at 99 cents (or 1.19 if you're in a Sheetz because Sheetz is a ripoff). At first when they made this change they had something else like a 24ozer but I haven't seen it around in months.

I was thinking about that after I posted but didn't want to edit the post.

I wonder if more people have bought the 16oz than the 20oz because it was cheaper?

I remember way back when...
...16 oz WAS the larger size. Then the 20's and then 24's came out.

(of course, I remember the little 6-1/2 oz bottles)

And I'm sure Fumble is also old enough to remember the tabs with finger rings to open a can. :oldhag

A lot of company's are doing things like this. Pepsi has stopped making 12 packs of cans but rather are selling 8 and 18 packs. They spin it by telling you it fits better in your fridge but they don't lower the price. If they just made a better product, people might buy more.

really?? have they started this? because I just bought a 12 pack of mt. dew the other day

anyways...I have not bought any kind of coke products since they started the whole 16 oz. thing. I didn't buy much coke anyways, but not I have completely stopped...so stupid in my opinion

Down here in South Florida, I have not seen a twelve pack of Pepsi products in a while. They are even talking about how nice the "new" 8 packs are on radio and tv ads.

Also lame is when you go to someone's house and they've got those little cans. I don't even know how many ounces they are. But it's gotta be on par with a child's juice box.

We use those little cans in place of juice boxes. You don't want a 6-year-old getting a whole can of root beer.

Come on, CJ. You know we don't let our little Texans start drinking Shiners, Pearls or Lone Stars until they are eight.

In Juarez there is no such thing as a drinking age.
