And no, I do not want to know if the married couples on here are taking him up on it.[/quote]

I guess Texans can only handle 7 days straight. Back in February, a Florida pastor challenged his flock to the deed for 30 days straight.
(giving a whole new meaning to hanging chad after 30 straight days)

Married couples? Sex with each others or others?
Just want to clarify

I love Ed Young. He is a great teacher and communicator in the church. He presents his topics in a very relevant way.

My brother went to this church and can't tell me what it means to be a Christian. He's all about the production and less about the Bible. Beds, Cars, Big Telephones on stage - maybe he needs to get a pulpit with a bible on it instead.

Understandable... churches seem to have that problem these days.

I was just watching that video thinking, I can't imagine what it would be like to go to a church that's a huge production like that. The interviews they were doing were in the lobby and it looked like they were in a large shopping mall.

Umm...it wasn't that long ago that Jonathan Falwell had a giant ipod and cars on stage.
Not arguing or defending...just saying....

I think Jonathan still brings it back to the Bible though. Even at that - these churches are not for everyone and others really thrive in them. Maybe, these churches are better for believers, not the unsaved? TRBC at least has a choir and not a rock concert.
I know TRBC's building was fashioned after this one.

I don't think very many of us on this board go to TRBC

What's wrong with a "rock concert"?

Really? I was curious how you know. If so, where do most of the board go? Just trying to kill some time before the game.

The reason that most of the people don't go to TRBC is because most of those that posted on that thread were out of state or area of Lynchburg.

Maybe the question should have been whether you
would attend TRBC
if you lived in Lynchburg.
