When does your house go Chritmas decor crazy? My sis-in-law already has everything out! I think it is way too early. We usually shoot for right at Turkey day or a week after.

I usually do it when I get home from thanksgiving weekend and then keep it up until new years. But that's really not enough display time for as much work as it is. I'm thinking about putting it up earlier this year.

We usually get the boxes down Thanksgiving night and put the tree and lights up the day after.

See we do a lot inside and outside and that's why my wife wants to follow her sis's lead and do it now.

I usually get the Christmas stuff out of the basement while everyone else is out shopping on Black Friday. I hate Black Friday -- I can't get up early enough to get the good stuff, and the only time I ever went shopping that day I couldn't get anything I wanted.

By the Monday after Thanksgiving, we're usually half decorated. Last year it didn't get done that early, but that's the goal this year.

I dont decorate my apartment, but my Mom does it all this last week every year. The Elders send my dad to Myrtle Beach for a week of golf for his birthday(hes a pastor) leaving my mom home alone to decorate everything and go nuts with it so its all up when everyone comes home for thanksgiving.

My stuff went up last weekend. My folks are snow birds and hunters so hunting interferes with Thanksgiving and then they leave the Sunday after that so on Saturday we are celebrating Thanksging/Christmas. No lights out front yet that will be after Thanksgiving when it is -20 degrees.
