We have memberships to the zoo and several museums. The value is unbelievable.

I could've saved much more than the annual fees if I had signed up for AAA this year. I won't make that mistake on our next major roadie whether it is to Virginia or elsewhere.

Actually I have a much better time at the zoo than a lot of places. We have the membership for the kids but I still enjoy the strolls with the animals.

my 2 kids can spend 7 days a week 5 hours each day in the zoo...they love it...and its actually a nice zoo now...when i was a kid it sucked...you never saw the animals...now you can see them all the time...and they have good animals now too...

It's always nice to get out and see some different animals other than just the typical deer, squirrel, groundhog, rabbit, and house pet type animals that I see everyday. Unless of course it's a friendly and playful albino squirrel :)

AAA is so cheap, it's stupid not to have it.

The Sam's membership is worth it for the hot dog/cherry coke combo alone. It's less than $2...and doesn't get any better.

You gotta go with the sausage instead. It's exactly like a hot dog only bigger and tangier.

Try Emeril's Chicken Apple Sausage. It is absolutely heaven.

Yes. BG is one thing I'll miss bigtime when and if I end up moving away from VA. Or if InBev closes or sells it.

i live like 15 minutes from six flags great america in chicago, its stupid to not get a season pass. Its close enough you can go there when you get off work and still ride alot of the rides, go in the water park. I usually go at least 25 times from may to august. When you consider its about $45 to get in, and a season pass is about 90, when I go 25 times, im saving about $1,030.

My parents bought the wife and I annual passes to Disney for the past 2 Christmas' and that has been a blessing. It only takes us 3 hours to get there and we have friends that live in Orlando so all we have to pay for is gass and food. It is a great weekend trip for us.

InBev is going to sell Busch Entertainment Corporation, but its more than likely going to another theme park chain organization. The question is, which one?

This is what concerns me. In my opinion, anything other than Disney will be a disaster.

Six Flags is in no financial position to take over the chain. Cedar Fair accumulated a ton of debt when they purchased the Paramount Parks. Rumors floating currently have it being some group that manages some nice parks in Europe or that BEC will spin off and be its own company. www.screamscape.com has all the latest rumors and factual information. My sources inside the park said to look for an announcement sometime in December as to the fate of the parks.

busch gardens is a prized theme park, easily one of the best in the US. hopefully it ends up in the right hands - it's always been my top choice between the kings dominion and BG.

Regardless of who eventually takes ownership of BEC, I hope they have a Busch on the board, similarly to InBev Busch. I would like to see most of the same people stay on in the new regime. If the new company starts cleaning house right away, the park as we know it is probably doomed.
