Obama will knock this OUT on Wednesday! He is going to be on all the major networks for 30 minutes!

This election couldn't be more over, in my mind. Scary, that this guy will become the most powerful man in the world!

Well, hopefully with the World Series being over by then and nothing else worthwhile to watch on Fox, the audience for this "commercial" will be small.

SOCIALISM

It has been re-packaged and re-branded, but the snake oil that we are all about to buy is just good old fashioned socialism.

And it does appear to be what the people want.

We are just days away from seeing the beginning of the end of what has probably been the world's greatest societies. For, once we take this step, there will be no turning back.

I think this is the key. McCain is pushing so hard that O is a socialist. And I really don't hear anyone rebutting that or caring. I don't think most people have a grasp of why it is not good to be a socialist.

And we have Cheney and his brethren to thank for leading a good man down a lousy path that gets the US to this point.

that is al gore's fault too. he invented global warming. then he changed the name to climate change. then he flew around in his jet until the ice caps started to melt so he could make the news. the economy is his fault too. i don't know why, probably because he invented it and should have done a better job

And don't forget Bush's oil buddies. His entire purpose and the existance of this country is to give them a nice profit. But he's deep down such a nice guy.

Now that LUconn pointed me to the right thread...

....Hey...its simply my PERCEPTION...that Cheney, et al have been pulling the strings on Dubya and helped facilitate the false information that led to Bush's decision to invade Iraq...to finish the job they could've/should've finished under his dad. Basically...Bush was a good person who surrounded himself with idiots.

This would be a rather damning October Surprise...

...if, of course, the mainstream media decided to report it.

obama wont get re-elected and neither will mccain, unless the economy has a huge turnaround then he claims to be the reason why it happened. that's the only way I see it happening. i see the next president basically being a lame duck.

I don't think the 'people' want socialism. I think the 'people' are like Joe the Plumber, who want the American dream. I just don't think the 'people', rather 50.5% of the electorate, know what they're asking for.

Ronald Reagan once said something to the effect of losing our liberty... and having to explain to the next generation what we cherished more than our freedom, to the point where we surrendered it. We are looking at that, every time someone says "i don't agree with what he says... but Obama makes me believe again!"

I am not a Obama supporter...far from it...but the constitution was written by man...it is a great document and represents probably the best form of government in history...but to say a document written by man is not flawed in some way is crazy...the constitution is not the Bible...and is flawed in some areas...

now, I really don't believe this is what Obama was trying to say...a lot of people on the left would rewrite most of the constitution if they could...and that is just crazy

You know what, I'm going to have to make a revision to my comment here. To say America, by electing a man who doesn't know what made America great and who was groomed by people who hate this country, will fall because of this decision is completely wrong.

See, this is the United States of America, and we are the greatest country in the world for a reason. America has been written off before. The 1960s saw our President murdered. We forced our kids to go into a war we shouldn't have been in, and 60,000 of them didn't come back. We tried socialistic programs, and the result has been a trillion dollar disaster. The inner cities exploded in fits of rage. Our next president was a crook and resigned in disgrace. The next one was a lame duck, and the one who followed him led us into a period of domestic and international disaster. And the worst... the worst thing, was that our enemies were stronger than us.

Yet we persevered. We got through it, and emerged stronger than ever. Somewhere along the line, we lost sight of that. Our problems pale in comparison to what we experienced just a generation ago.

Of course, we had the leadership of Ronald Reagan to help us get through those times. He wasn't the perfect president, but he was just what America needed. Granted, we don't have a Ronald Reagan waiting in the wings. We don't have a Ronald Reagan-type figure who, the very idea of him as President causes our enemies to sweat. But whose fault is that? We can sit here and complain on conservative blogs, or we can get out and do something about it. Damnit, who among us will stand up and be a leader?*

*I would love to, actually. If my congresswoman, a strong pro-life conservative, loses, I'm running for the House in 2010.
