I find out about a lot of free music online, either through blogs or email or other sources. They're all legal, and most of them are pretty good, so I figured I'd share a few recent ones. If there's interest, I'll post 'em as I find 'em.

Cool Hand Luke: The Mirror and Falling In Love. Both off the new CD, The Sleeping House.

The Devil Wears Prada: HTML Rulez D00D. This is actually a sampler from Rise Records, and so far it's certainly worth getting.

Disciple: Savior. Off the new Southern Hospitality album.

Run Kid Run: One In A Million. Off the Love at the Core CD. This site seems to change downloads monthly, so by November this track may not be there anymore.

Indie Vision Music is a pretty good source for undiscovered (and underdiscovered) music. They come out with samplers periodically with as many as 60 tracks from independent artists. Some are stinkers, but there are some good songs on them.

That Equal Vision/Rise Records Sampler is pretty awesome. Good find.

I've heard a lot of the songs on that sampler.

I've always loved samplers -- I've found some great bands through samplers, and even a few years ago I only paid a buck or two for them in the stores.

too base haste the day is terrible now and has been on their two previous albums.

New compilation -- a French site has posted Another Way To Fight vol. 1. 62 tracks, including FireFlight and House of Heroes. Seems like a slow download right now for me, but that might be Time Warner Cable being stupid again.
