get them quick before barak outlaws them..

the best way to get them is on the street, but you need a cop buddy to run the numbers to make sure they are clean

no haha, just don't buy from dealers so it isn't registered in your name, that way when they outlaw them they won't know what you have and can't take them away. i wouldn't buy from just anyone though lol

So you wouldnt buy one off OJ?

I get what your saying...I dont mind Pawn shops though....you can get pretty good deals....sometimes...

they only register handguns. the long guns they just run a background check for. i got a rifle from a pawn guy at a show and he had no idea what he was doing and i got a deal. you have to know what you are lookin at though or you can get ripped off, and always inspect it very well. if the outside isn't in good shape then the inside probably isn't either, so unless you know a decent gunsmith i'd stay away from anything that looks heavily used or rusted or anything sketchy looking

You guys are the type that cling to guns and religion during a time of economic crisis. Typical.

I saw a bumper sticker in the '80s that reminds me of JDUB & HMO:

"God, Guts, and Guns: Let's Keep All Three"

If BB guns count, I have two (the other being a single shot 22 rifle from my Boy Scout days). My WV Dad has several shot guns that I will eventually inherit; that is, if my wife lets them come in the house. If not, I'll build myself an armory in my backyard.

Coming from one of those backwoods redneck families in Farmville, we have more guns than family members.

That is because a) I do not own any guns and b) I spent some time in the dean's office (Office of Student Conduct) a couple weeks ago because they suspected me of owning guns and wishing to replicate one of teh most reprehensible acts in recent memory and Id rather not run the risk of somebody throwing me under that bus again
