Lucifer: Obama's Hero's Hero.

(This oughta stir the pot)...

The work of a 'community organizer' has been bandied about by both political parties in the last few weeks. The Democrats point to Obama's work as a 'community organizer' as a qualification for the Presidency. The Republicans say 'community organizer' is a next-to-meaningless position.

Left-wing bloggers are getting in on the act, saying 'Jesus was a community organizer. And Pontius Pilate was a governor.' That pithy comment has been picked up by a swath of Democratic sympathizers, ranging from Rep. Steve Cohen to actress Susan Sarandon.

So what's up, really?

Politics aside, the modern notion of 'community organizing' emanates from one guy, Saul Alinsky. Alinsky was from the same Chicago neighborhood made famous by Upton Sinclair's "The Jungle" (a novel about horrific working conditions at a railyard), and Alinsky later worked to "champion new ways to organize the poor and powerless..."

Now, there is nothing wrong with this on the surface. I think a flaw of capitalism is it, at times, exploits those on the lower end of the economic totem pole (the proletariat, to borrow a phrase from socialism), and so, organizing those people into unions or other institutions can certainly assist them get fair treatment.

Wait -- don't lose me just yet. Don't tune out -- the payoff is coming.

That being said, Alinsky wound up writing a book called 'Rules for Radicals'. Alinsky had a profound impact on '60s and '70s-era radicals. Hillary Clinton, while a senior at Wellesley, wrote her thesis on Alinsky. Clinton (then Rodham) said Alinsky was a charming and appealing figure, although his techniques were anachronistic (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17388372/).

Years after Alinsky died, some of his students hired Barack Obama to a job as a community organizer. In a few years, "he became very proficient in the Alinsky Method of community organizing" (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/co ... 01152.html).

Okay, okay, okay... let's bottle the egg here.

Clearly, Saul Alinsky had an significant impact on the lives and philosophies of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. This is undeniable. While this is all nebulous, here's something loud and clear:

Remember that book I mentioned earlier, the one written by Alinsky? 'Rules for Radicals'? The one that's basically the Bible of 'community organizing'?

If you have a copy around, go read the dedication. If you don't have a copy -- here's what it says:

"Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins -- or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom -- Lucifer."

Yes, that's right. Trying to be funny or not, Saul Alinsky, the father of community organizing, the subject of Hillary's senior thesis, the person who Obama devoted the early part of his life to emulating... dedicated his book to Lucifer. Satan. The Prince of Darkness.

I am not kidding anyone. I am not the kind of person that's going to spread lies about someone. I'm not going to perpetuate myth of Obama being a Muslim (because it's not true), and I'm not trying to be a shill for the Republicans or conservatives. I'm giving you the 100 percent, God's honest truth.

One more time. Obama is following in the footsteps of a man who dedicated his work to Lucifer.
