I'm up to speed on Prison Break, and would say I'm a fan, yes. I quite enjoyed the first season, but I do wonder how the second season is going to keep me interested.

Yeah, Scofield's entire plan/tatoo was very entertaining. I'm not so sure the conspiracy will keep me interested. I'll keep watching though to see what happens.

good show. the characters were very interesting. im sure part of the story will focus on getting that big bag of cash. and the doctor is pretty hot IMO. gotta love the names of some of the characters, c-note, tweener, and brokeback's favorite t-bag.

like I said in another thread, T-bag is probably the best character on TV right now

Don't count of the Doctor next season to impact the show, especially because she Overdosed in the final show:)

Great Show. I think they will be able to keep in interesting - what's better than a bunch of fugitives on the run.

this is as good a time as any for me to chime in and point out that I have no FRIGGIN' clue what any of you are talking about, in fact- SHOWS I HAVE NEVER SEEN , NOT EVEN ONE EPISODE:

1. Lost
2. American Idol
3. Prison Break
4. 24
5. Apprentice
6. any other "reality" show out there

I live in a bubble, one penetrated only by children's programming and anything on History, Discovery, or various sports channels.

Now if you wanna talk about Deadliest Catch...

Brokeback - I thought you were on the show??? This whole deal of not knowing who anyone is - is for the birds:) I swore you were Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell.

As far as the doctor - Possible DOA - She looked pretty Dead to me - but it would make since to keep her around for some extra sub-plots.

PA Medic - I watch plenty of Kids shows, but TIVO helps me stay on top of my favorite shows. These are a few shows you need to start watching (or even buy the DVD series) - Not listed in any particular order.

1) 24
2) Prison Break
3) Survivor
4) Big Brother - Kind of Cheesy, but very entertaining. Especially during the Summer Season when nothing is on.
5) The Unit
6) American Idol
7) So you think you can Dance
8) Fire Fly - Used to be on Fox. If you haven't seen these - buy the series - they are great. Serenity (Movie) was based off this show.
9) Lost

FireFly is shown on the SciFi channel every so often. I have all the episodes TiVo'd and locked.!! The movie was great, but there were enought discontinuity points that made me have to watch again and forget about the series.
Word on the street is SciFi may be brining it back. Due to the BLOWOUT success of their last couple of series, most recently Battlestar Galactica, they MAY do a launch in England first. I hope they do!!

That would be awesome.

My wife and I love that show. The reason they pulled it off the air the first time, was that it was to expensive to film. If they bring it back - they have to bring back all the same actors - they really made the show.

SciFi originals usually blow. Well, Dr. Who seems to be doing well. But really what makes SciFi suck is they can't afford decent CGI and yet their shows use it so much. I hate CGI in everything. Really, in my opinion, CGI has been all downhill ever since Jurrasic Park.

Is it strange that I watch Prison Break and not 24? Should I just pull out my own heart temple of doom style?

no its not weird. i didnt want to watch 24 at all because there were too many other people watching it and it annoyed me...but i finally watched this season and it is pretty darn good...

and knowing your personality, i know thats what you are doing as well

That, and I feel like a real dork having all of these shows that I follow closely. I can only have so many before I'm just a TV/messageboard lowlife. I already drive 90mph home from church on Wednesday to see Lost and I feel like a tool the entire way. If I cut one out that is the most popular I can feel better about myself.

I watched the first two seasons of 24. After that, I started watching the third season but it just felt ridiculous. I was laughing at the high intensity moments that used to keep me locked in. Oh well. I'm over it.

Our tv can be programmed so that's probably my wqay out of staying up too late too much and not studying enough. Don't know if MrMc will want 24 (he goes through phases)- if not, I prob. won't bother. I told him I want the 1st ep. of Dr.House that's on DVD. Prison Break is a keeper but maybe on tape the next day (will my 3 yr. old keep having nap time so I can watch it w/out feeling guilty?) Some violent shows bother me too much; PrBr is intense so I think abt. it and can't sleep right away. NCIS has good humor and intensity but is usually ok.

as long as the 3 yr old is UNAWARE you have an agenda- you're good. Just don't let the little one figure out your plan- or nappy time is over for good. They love to disrupt things.

Seems the days when something is planned for later in day is when she fights it the most; my son stopped napping at 2 but maybe I didn't try hard enough to keep it going.

ours stopped early as well- nothing you can do about it. Except drug them. Massive doses of Benadryl work nicely.
