Anyone watch this premier last night?
Executive producer from lost - J.J. Abrams' new show.

I thought it interesting, 1.5 hour premier was a lot, and the commercials were only 60 seconds long so you had to watch carefully.
Couldn't get any work done during commercials.

So did anyone see it?

Mighty Ducks started it all...but have you ever seen Skulls? One of my very favorites (of course, the sequels were AWFUL!)

It was good. You could hear some of the same music they use in lost. I liked it overall, the opening scene was pretty sick though.

I think I watched the first bunch of episodes. Then there was a break, and I kept missing episodes so I'm way behind. But my roommate has been watching and keeps telling me to catch up. I liked what I saw but just never started it up again.

I'm up to speed and love the show. It the modern day xfiles to me- more futuristic science than aliens though

exactly why i love it aliens were too easy....and yet it was still interesting thinking it was going that direction.

the manifesto (which was not written by walter if you ask me) speaks of opening a portal to another universe....i think its safe to assume they did this long ago. which is why walter knows the observer seemingly pretty well. (btw the observer is in every episode) the people in this other dimension are what causes the pattern.

the ZFT are a group of people trying to stop what was "prophesied" in the manifesto. Any terrorist activity is just a way of disrupting and hopefully stopping the eventual distruction of the earth/universe.

i think bell is the author of the manifesto. walter could of forgotten and then realized once he busts out the typewriter but i dont' think so. its what they want you to think. its either him or bell. i want to know more about bell and apparently we meet him before the season ends....also, the writers said at comic con that it may be someone we already know.

some theories think that walter or another walter from the other universe....i'm still reading on the theory but think its far fetched.

um...awesome...

so walter went to the other dimension and brought his son back from it after peter from this dimension dies. i'm assuming int he accident by the lake or because of his illness..... when he put the coin on the tombstone i was like....Noo way and sure enough.....nemoy as william bell is awesome...and the way she visits him is awesome as well...

I couldn't agree more. I think i said " holy crap" when they showed the grave stone. Earlier i was like how does Peter not remember collecting coins as a child, thats stupid. I mean we don't even know also how much dunham will find out about the experiments done on her as a child or what special powers she has ( she burnt that room up in that video of her as a child). The possibilities seem to be endless. I was expecting a good finale, but that was pretty close to perfect.

Can you believe Fox almost didn't renew this show for next season? - Of course they have a habit of killing good shows - Firefly among them.

I miss Firefly, really and truly.

On a side Firefly note, I find it ironic that Joss Whedon vowed that he'd never work with Fox again after what they did to that show. After seeing a few episodes of Dollhouse, I'm thinking that he should have kept that promise. What a pile of misbegotten crap that is.
