Did anyone catch the premiere last night? I saw the first half and will watch the rest on my computer, but I was fairly impressed. FX has been pumping this thing for months, but I might end up following it. FX seems to be going after the HBO mold in its original series. To me this just seems like a great idea for a show. Of course I don't know how long they'd be able to drag it out.

Do you like TurboHD so far? I've been looking at it. I don't want to lose basic channels like FX though. That sounds stupid.

I just finished it. It was pretty cool. The whole time you see guys you recognize from other movies. The greasy cop from batman, Hellboy, Al Bundy's wife, Joey's sister in "Joey", The dude that has that Scar on his face that is always in those ancient epic movies, and a few others that you see but can't really place where you've seen them.

Who wants to be in my motorcycle gang that I am now starting?

Its great. I like it so far. We got the silver package. We lost out on getting FX only until they get the fxhd channel which should be January.

But other than that all the other channels are there except for comedy….which I’m happy to take a break from at the moment.

The pictures are clear. And its easy to add an antenna to get the local hd channels and they go right intot he menu. (I prefer this anyway for when there is a thunderstorm I stil get some tv. We get hd tv in our area for the dish in January.

Its a lot cheaper than cable and I get all the channels I watch on a regular basis:

Espn’s
Food
Hgtv
Disc
History

That’s all I need and I’m happy.
