Were they really focused on wiping Denmark off the face of the earth because of that cartoon?? I don't think so. If Denmark mocked their religion AND were in their backyard for years and years telling them how they should live then I am sure more would of come of it.

Don't get me wrong, they don't like our way of life but I don't think they would be calling American the great satan if we weren't always in everybody's business. Its easy to say "they hate our freedom" or "its blowback, plain and simple" but nothing is ever as simple as that. Its obviously a combination of both which causes them to hate us so much.

Lets ignore all the times he has said he doesn't believe that. Fox News propaganda at it's finest.

The blowback theory has its holes that much is true but would they hate us as much as they do if we weren't over there pretty much non stop the past 20 years?? There is no way to know that for sure but it sure isn't helpful for anybody involved.
At times he has been 'vague' in his answers, especially during the 08 campaign.

As for the NR, who cares. All I said was that this was a good analysis of Romneys campaign and what needs to happen. Also, just to discredit something because they are pro or anti something doesn't make a lot of sense. What in that statement did you find wrong?

Yes. They would hate us just as much if we had not been there for 20 years. We killed OBL, have KSM in custody, Sadaam Hussein is no longer among us....yeah, being over there has been helpful.

Okay, great. Let's just kill all the Muslims and we won't have to worry about it. Somebody please relay that message to John Bolton.

I know you're being sarcastic but really you and Ron Paul are the only ones who generalize all muslims into one group. Everybody else singles out individual groups as dangerous.

I'm not being sarcastic. If Islam truly is a radical religion then clearly they're a threat and should be wiped out to serve our national interest. That's what you're advocating correct?

I would love to quote all the times you have accused me of that and all the times I have told you that is incorrect but I think there's a character limit on these posts. So I'll just quote the most recent time. I hope I'll be able to filter through this thread and find it.

Let the record show my response was to the argument of percentages and how they equate to actual numbers. There is a large numerical difference between 5% of Christians and 5% of Muslims. To advocate killing all Muslims off the face of the Earth is no different then what RADICAL Muslims want. I like to think we are different and have the data to back it up.
As for wanting to wipe Denmark off the map, that is irrelevant. These RADICAL Muslims wanted to kill people who posed them no threat ( to use your standard). THAT is the difference.
Where the disagreement comes with me and Paul's position, and that of his supporters, is that it does not take into account the fact there IS evil in the world. If you want to look at something incredible, check out the birth rates of Muslims in Europe compared to the Europeans. Then check statements made by many powerful Imams about why this is.
And I would LOVE John Bolton as Sec State!

When he goes to war with Tajikistan I hope you will be a patriot and sign up for combat.

You know - I really wish that all of the individuals that claim our presence in the Middle East is solely about oil were right sometimes. Then we might not be paying $3.50 per gallon of gasoline.

Also JB - why is it that you always play games with our statements regarding the radical sects of Islam. Most on the right go to great lengths to make sure their comments are PC and you consistently blow things out of proportion by statements such as these:
Okay, great. Let's just kill all the Muslims and we won't have to worry about it. Somebody please relay that message to John Bolton.
This leads me to my next question: Are you a Muslim?

Now that's just a silly stAtement. We both know you are better then that. For starters doesn't Borat run Tajikistan? Plus I'm sorta past the military service age, you don't know whether or not I have signed up for service in the past and at any rate, once they looked at my medical history they would say thanks but no thanks. I believe I surpass the knee sugary max of 10!

Nope, Kazakhstan.

Is it a silly argument though? Most people who seem to be endlessly advocating war haven't served a day in the military.

Just because one hasn't served in the military does not mean it makes their opinion invalid, but I am more likely to listen to someone who has served 20 years when it comes to our foreign policy then a politician that is trying to garner support from the war-loving crowd.

This is ridiculous. The deadline to caucus was Feb 11. They had what a week or so in which to plan the caucus? So now Paul supporters are claiming CONSPIRACY because the State is holding firm to that deadline? If I'm aRomney or Santorum supporter, why would I go to a caucus AFTER the caucus deadline? Paul supporters will to help bolster their claim that he should have won the state. Secondly, would there even have been enough people at these caucuses (caucii?) to make a 200 vote difference? Even. The testimonial of the pastor with the crying baby only had a 3 vote difference.

Now, as for the variance in numbers reported, that is a different story. It sounds like some of these combined caucuses-ii were just reported under the place where the caucus was held. So if towns A B and C all met in Town A, Town A would show the entire vote total while B and C would show 0. However, the pastor's story may lead one to believe that the total's were misreported. I think if anything this is incompetence on the part of the State of Maine more then some grand plan by Willard.

Haha Haize that's funny, if Mittens got screwed you'd be up in arms too.

But of course, the establishment is making sure that Republicans don't get to choose their own candidate. In fact, Karl Rove shall dictate who gets the monination. Not even you are allowed to choose Haize.

I've said it a thousand times, and I'm a Paul supporter so it does me no good to say this. I don't have a problem with VA setting up rules for their own primary. But when the rules were changed, and how the rules were changed, was clearly an effort to keep everyone but Mitt off the ballot. The VA elected officials (politicians) had the means to obtain and oversee the signatures. It just so happens that Ron Paul's supporters were able to beat the system and sneak in.

As for Maine, explained to me how Washington County only has 10 votes counted? And surprise, Ron Paul leads in that county. You really think with their population only 10 people voted. Take the mittens sunglasses off and realize something fishy is going on. I don't know that Paul will win, nor does it matter, but something fishy is going on.

First of all Willard and Paul are the only ones organized enough to get on the ballots. The State of Maine isn't changing anything. They set the dates for caucuses ii to get completed by, some places decided not too. How is that fishy. As for the 10 votes from Washington County, I thought Washington County was the one that got cancelled due to weather? If not, then did they combine caucus with anyone else? How many people were 'reportedly' at that caucus?
I'm far more apt to believe incompetence over conspiracy. I don't think anyone got screwed. The slim margin of victory makes for great drama but when you are talking about causesesii that have only a handful of people at them it's not nearly as dramatic. I would put more stock in conspiracies and fraud if it was a larger sample size.
