I never once said he was right or wrong with the joke. I laughed at it, but that doesn't mean I endorsed it as being right or wrong. It was probably over the line. I still laughed. I never defended him. The closest I came to defending him was saying that everyone assumed what he meant was sexual and that was just pointing out the truth of implied humor, not defending him.

The joke was mildly amusing, but it was also crass. However, being crass is not the same level as being blasphemous. This joke was not blasphemous according to the basic understanding of blasphemy as it is explained in Theology class.
