I like John Bolton. I like his tough stance. It isn't extreme as you make it out to be thigh.

Name me one Muslim country John Bolton doesn't want to bomb. I saw him on Fox News this afternoon talking about bombing Iran and Pakistan!

More could be named...

You can try and make us out to be alarmists all you want, but I think you are making light of the situation in the very least. There are 1.2 - 1.6 Billion Muslims in the world. Even if only 1% of those are "radicalized" we are talking about 12 - 16 million people. Now I'm not saying that we are going to have a 16 million man Islamic Liberation Army show up on our border with Mexico, but it is quite a frightening statistic.

If I knew the point spreads I might be willing to bet Ron Paul wins Main and finishes 2nd in Nevada. I also predict him to finish 2nd in VA :D

So true. Supporting Trump tells me you know absolutely nothing about politics.

And this is the point where FF posters have no other arguments, so they poorly attempt to attack one's credentials and/or personal history. It's also a typical strategy among 5 year olds who get punished by their parents. Son, I know more about politics than you ever will. Also, I'll make my profile picture of me with a Tebow jersey on if the majority of Paul supporters don't claim a voting conspiracy at the end of the primary. The simple fact that Paul is too idiotic to withdraw before the end of the convention should tell you enough. You hate Donald Trump but you have no reason too. He wants to fix the economy and get the crap out of D.C. Yet, you support a man who wants to drag out one of the most negative primaries ever?

Also i do believe every single one of the people on here who hate Trump have told you why. But continue your agrument that a 12 time elected congressmen and a doctor is a complete idiot. And for God sake please keep voting establishment. It really seems to be working out

Lot's of successful people are told to go home by unsuccessful people. Why? The unsuccessful one wants a chance.

I don't want a 12 time elected congressman or a doctor running my country. Any congressman who has been in that long, doesn't care about the country's well being, he's more concerned with his bank account and social status (probably the reason why he isn't going to withdrawal until the convention).

Well let's see. If you are applying for a job, someone is always looking at your credentials. The also may want to do a background check to look at your personal history. Are you a felon, drunk cross dresser etc. So those are a lot more important and relevant then you givecreit.

Son, I know more about politics than you ever will.
Saying something doesn't make it so. We are still waiting on that poll you promised the backed out of.

Don't get blasphemous with his holiness MrTebow!

You show that perhaps you are the one who is an idiot because you do not understand his strategy. The longer he stays in the race the more opportunity to make his point. He hopes, as do some of his supporters, that they will be able to move the discussion closer to their way of thinking and have a good enough delegate count to make it happen. Given the way the primaries and caucus' are set up and his limited resources it's a very smart thing to do.

You hate Donald Trump but you have no reason too. He wants to fix the economy and get the crap out of D.C.
Yeah because everyone else running wants the economy to stay in the crapper. Donald Trump is a tremendous self promoter, as is Newt. Trump has gone belly up several times, so all his ideas are not hold. I think Bane Capital was more successful in picking winners then Trump. Trump is about appearances opulence and grandiosity. Which is fine in his line of work. I prefer the government to be dull, unobtrusive efficient and streamlined. He can not just tell a Senator 'youre fired' if he doesnt agree with him. Trump is used to getting his way and not have those under him question him, especially in public. Cant see Chuck Schumer staying quiet during a Trump Presidency. You have to do your best to keep your party in line and work on a couple of defectors from the other side of the aisle. This call fir compromise and finesse, not 2 things I associate with Trump. Finally you can not run the government like a business. Businesses exist to provide wants needs and desires and most importantly a profit. Business principles can be applied, but it is a different beat.

So there is a breakdown of your sophomoric post with the added bonus of why I don't think Trump is qualified. So now you can no longer say no one says why they don't like Trump.

I'm not arguing that credentials don't mean anything. I have credentials, so why would I argue that? I'm pointing out the poor debating form that lies in attacking someone's credentials or personal life.

It isn't a smart thing to do though. It's a big waste of his financial resources and Romney's. Paul isn't going to win the convention, thus he isn't going to beat Obama. If he isn't going to accomplish the number one goal in November, he needs to withdrawal.
Trump has gone belly up several times, so all his ideas are not hold.
This is actually a great reason to like Trump. He knows what it's like to be at the bottom and rise back up.

I don't think you understand the proper connection between business and government. I don't know anyone (except a guy running for the state senate in Roanoke's district), who wants to run the government exactly like a business. The business connection has more to do with being able to say no to unneeded expenses, and having the proper knowledge to make America more attractive to businesses. Secondly, you need someone in there who knows how to run a budget. This is where I prefer Romney over Paul, Gingrich and Santorum.
So there is a breakdown of your sophomoric post with the added bonus of why I don't think Trump is qualified. So now you can no longer say no one says why they don't like Trump.
You're reasons are so weak though. You don't like Trump because he's a businessman who enjoys the being seen? I think this has more to do with conservatives being too scared to vote independent versus Republican. At least some RP crazies are smart enough to being open to that.

It's going back and forth between Newt and Willard. It's typical Trump just trying to hijack a news cycle

Not that I agree with CJ here in his support for Trump, but wouldn't the fact that Trump has run a business make him a viable option to apply said 'Business principles' over a man who has served 12 terms in Congress?

In all honesty, I think Trump is out to promote himself and satisfy his need for headlines with his name in them. But the fact that people are willing to support him underscores a growing anti-establishment sentiment among voters.

Because we all know being a 12 term Congressman precludes you from being a good president

Seriously I bet you were a Herman Cain supporter at one time. I liked Herman Cain before anyone even knew who he was, and had a small talk show at WSB in Atlanta. I knew he would not make a good president.

JB - I never said that Paul was not prepared to be President because he served as a 12 term congressman. What I am saying is that when it comes to reforming government by applying "business principles" that Purple mentioned in his previous post, then how would Trump not be a solid choice based solely on his knowledge of said principles.

I don't want to steal your thunder and claim I knew who Herman Cain was before you did, but I've known of him for quite some time. You aren't the only person who listens to talk radio. He was a fill-in for Boortz all the time. Furthermore, I never supported Cain for president. Anytime he spoke about foreign policy issues he was clueless, and it was too noticeable. Don't assume so much... you know what they say happens about people who do that.
