Gotta give my plug to eggnog's lesser-known cousin, boiled custard. Get some, it's good.

My favorite: Marva Maid Eggnog...regional dairy, but may have distribution in Lynchburg. I use eggnog as a coffee creamer and we also us it to make eggnog pancakes. Please, ban canned/extended shelf life product. Marva Maid: 4 days from the milk shed to the store shelf.

I have to admit that I've never tasted boiled custard. Guess I have to add that to my bucket list.

Frankly the older I get, the more I am beginning to appreciate the watered down nog. I have less digestive problems the next 24 hours.

Down here in Texas we have a regional dairy called Promised Land who makes a number of varieties of egg nog and they are all awesome.

I finally got some pumpkin spice eggnog from PET. It's ok. Not really very much of the pumpkin flavor to it. I'll stick with regular.

We didnt have it at the WIlliams house last Christmas. I dont think eggnog has been seen in the Williams household since the turn to the 21st century. Really nobody in the house likes it that much these days so my mom doesnt buy it at the store

Had some egg nog at Busch Gardens (FL) on Thankgsiving weekend. Looking forward to having some at Busch Gardens (VA) Christmas weekend.

Thinking about looking for some flavored egg nog this weekend.

I got a 1/2 gallon at Sam's yesterday because it was so cheap. Byrne Diary. It's not that great. It tastes "milked down".

Noticed it at Walmart today. I think I'm gonna hold off on it until closer to Christmas during these tough economic times.
