I'm surprised we have so many Ron Paul fans. He's pro-life but he's got a mixed voting record on abortion (NRLC gave him a 56%), and he's against a marriage amendment. 2 things "our group" normally places pretty high on their agenda.

He votes for the Federal government to stay out of abortion because he believes it's an issue to be decided on a state by state basis, rather than by the Federal government. (Which is the pragmatic approach to stopping abortion, IMHO.) It makes his voting look skewed towards the pro-abortion side of things.

I'm against a federal marriage amendment as well.

I also skew towards the Liberatarian side. However, as I've said before, they are Un-Electable and therefore irrelevant. I hate the 2 party system and do not agree with either, but lately I've had to vote for the lesser of 2 evils because of the lack of a real constitutional conservative.

1 term would be worse than what it is now. the only reason i support term limits for congress both federal and in the state is because of gerrymandering. it runs so rampant that its ridiculous.

A one-term limit would be disasterous. Talk about your lame-duck experience.

I'm not completely familiar with all of those but weren't they coalitions policing? That's a pretty big difference. But my statement was more to the affect of disputing us gallivanting all over the globe with the sole purpose of human justice.
