Chinese virus
Wuhan virus
Woo flu
Kung flu
or (my personal favorite)

If you think it's cool to breed racism, xenophobia, and hate, I guess that's cool.

Those words are more important to you than the people being impacted.

How about go into your local Asian community and ask them how they feel about it? That's probably the tact I'd take, if I had any kind of empathetic soul.

This has been argued into the ground.

Some of you folks don't care if you inspire racist actions, some of you do. If anything, shows that people need Jesus more than ever.

The Chinese government has done an absolutely terrible job handling this thing and when all is said or done they should be held accountable in some way by the international community.

All of this is pointless at this point because we need to focus on ourselves and ensuring we do all we can to recover quickly. All of this other stuff can be handled once we are on the other side of this.

I had no problem with Wuhan virus. It is what it is. But for Trump using it disparagingly, it might have stayed that.

I wonder if the folks in Lyme, CT and the Rocky Mountains are wondering what they need to do to get their names off of their namesake diseases.

Oh I’m REALLY happy about the chloroquine news.

Guys if Trump is reelected many, many jobs are leaving China. They didn't play nice with trade. They didn't conform to the rest of the world on trade ...... And they don't really like us. I just hope we can bring a lot of the job back to the Americas, north, south and central. If Biden is elected Hunter will become the next billionaire for Bernie to hate on. And future POTUS's will be Chinese puppets. This election will have big consequences.

For those who haven't seen it yet, a bunch of libtard celebrities thought it would be appropriate/helpful in these trying times to put together a second rate ripoff of "we are the world", singing John Lennon's "Imagine." I really like what this guy tweeted in response.

Setting aside the hypocrisy, I "imagine" half of them have never made the effort to consider what the song really says, and the other half have, and actually think it's good, which is scary.

It’s got a good melody and hook. That’s all that matters

About 2 miles from my house is an area appropriately called "Pueblo de Panty" (Panty town) by the locals. Several streets lined with garment factories and outlet stores full of mostly bras and pantys. Business is OK now, but 20 years ago it was booming. They were the primary suppliers for several huge American companies, most notably Victoria's Secret. Then the Chinese stepped in and undercut their prices and times got tough for several years before they refocused their emphasis to the domestic market. I have a suspicion when all this has played out they may be getting some of that business back.

I suspect your suspicion is correct. A lot of companies are going to be rethinking their supply chain if it involves the country in Asia where this virus originated

Personally I like what James Woods did. After the first nose dive the market took he tossed in a ton of cash into the market. Then I believe did it again the second big dive. I like that

As for Burr it’s possible to believe the Virus is no big deal and that the stock market is going to take a bath because of it. Not a good look but not unheard of

I said what I liked. Which would translate to what I would most likely do if I had the means. In fact I’m going to try to move some stuff to buy a very specific stock tomorrow.
What Burr did is very shrewd and prudent and not out of line with advice if heard from financial people at the time.
It’s not defending the Party. It’s just being objective.

Haha, oh yeah I completely forgot.

I'm well aware of my biases. If people really think that about me then they are either not paying attention or confused.

All of this isolation and lack of basketball in March is really doing as number on my mental health.

Why do you keep bringing it up?
Why do you keep bringing this up?
Why do you make me focus on this empty chasm in my soul?
You are truly an evil and vile man!

Burr is on camera talking about how this was going to be a big deal but never said so publicly in order to fall in line with Trump.

He was getting daily briefings on the severity of the virus.

He sold his stock days before things crashed and made over $1 million.

That’s not shrewd. That’s corrupt. And that’s coming from someone who has actually voted for Burr before.

I've had many conversations with Burr. Most notably when he was boarding my flight to DC to go cast his vote on launching the second gulf war. He was not comfortable invading. But he voted yes. But that's something entirely different. He's helped me a couple times on retirement (PBGC) issues.

He's been rumored a swap critter for a long time. Friend of mine in the know told me he's been wheeling and dealing that way for years. Remember when a law came up to make senators liable if caught insider trading. He voted against it.

Not defending any swamp critters, but if he sold stocks knowing full well the public would panic no matter what and the market was going to dive, why not sell and buy back at the bottom. I'd be more concerned if he dosen't buy the bottom.

I'm on a phone and I can't see this to proff it, so don't give me a hard time on so and grammar

I’ve heard he’s kinda a slimy. Not sure if this would do it. But it certainly isn’t a good look that’s for sure. Not as bad as having cash frozen in your freezer but....
