the new Rambo movie is shockingly good. I figured the Rambo series would have gotten stupid by now, but it was good.

Just got back from watching Hancock with the wife and in-laws at the beach. It sucked. The first half was decent but I ended up wishing it would just end.

The ending is the most anti-climatic of any movie I've ever seen.

It was different from the original ... which incidentally is also worth a viewing.

Yeah, I just watched the original a couple weeks ago because I liked the new one so much. Some parts I felt like I was watching the same movie again, but the original doesn't have anything about the transport to Contention, most of it takes place in the hotel in Contention, and the ending is completely different. No hot-head son, hero doesn't die, both get on the train like best buds. And then it rains, of course. But the remake was better.

I've got the Brad Pitt Jesse James flick at home ready to watch, but I noticed last night that it approaches 3 hours, so who knows when I'll have time to watch it.

I really like the new 3:10 but I didn't like the ending. It was very odd. But that's the beauty of Rambo. It's a very satisfying ending. What's better than the bad guy's intestines dropping on the ground? NOTHING.

I've watched two movies lately that I'd never seen that I really liked. They're not new or anything but they were good. Mr. Brooks and Fracture.

Mr Brooks was good but I thought Fracture was AWESOME. I went out and bought Fracture as soon as it came out.

Easy now. I thoroughly enjoyed No Country. But then again I am a sucker for Texas border films.
