Did anyone catch the debate last night on PBS? Probably not, but it was a shame that none of the major candidates bothered to show up when the main audience was minorities. But their absence actually allowed for substantive ideas and meaningful platforms to be conveyed, which was nice for a change.

If you'll read the article carefully, you'll notice that Ron Paul never once said he agrees with those people. He was just speaking at their get together. He'll speak anywhere anyone invites him, including 9/11 conspiracy rallies. That article did a great job of trying to lump him in with those who believe in such conspiracies, but it's just not the case. I can show you video of him categorically denying any belief that 9/11 was an inside job.

I stand firmly behind Paul's campaign and give a large, center-oriented finger to those who criticize without taking a careful look at what it's about. Candidates like Ron Paul are the only chance this country has at saving the existing government.

Not that that discounts the validity of what Paul has to say, but it's just funny that all of the tinfoil hat folks cling to him.

I'm not insulted, but I don't think it's funny either. The mainstream media has spun the Paul campaign to be one "for nuts", and that's just not true. In fact, I've found the opposite to be true. All of the most intelligent people I know are supporting Ron Paul. None of them are even remotely crazy. I can't for the life of me understand voting for any of the "big" candidates in this election, but you all have fun with that.
