Last flew mergers flew through the government approval process. The powers that be are actually behind industry consolidation, finally. Hopefully it leads to a healthier industry and friendlier sky's. Very little over lap here, US Airways and Delta traded slots in DCA and LGA a year ago in preparation for monopoly concerns. Necessary merger approvals to occur in the third quarter of 2013.
