I've heard a few jokes, none being original that I hadn't heard before he died.

"This is bad, Real Bad, Michael Jackson"- Kanye

RIP to the best to ever do it.

Idk how many of you (probably not many) watched the BET Awards last night but they did a great job, and at the end Janet came out and Spoke and Jamie Foxx and Neyo did a song right after her to end the show.

I thought some of it was a little much... I dont think you can do too much in that situation but when you put people in positions that suck it hurts what youre doing.

I thought Neyo and Foxx did great at the end though.

Last thing... for those of you that care anyway...

Apparently the family wanted Chris Brown to do a tribute at the Awards and Jay-Z fought against him being there due to his trouble with the law. I like Chris and his music and I LOVE Jay, but isnt that kind of a low blow?

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - It's the King of Pop - in butter.

Iowa State Fair organizers announced Tuesday that they will have a statue of Michael Jackson made of butter. The sculpture will be on display along with the annual butter cow, a popular attraction at the event.

Both will be in a 40-degree cooler throughout the fair from Aug. 13 to 23 in Des Moines.

Fair organizers say the butter sculpture is a tribute to the pop icon who died at the age of 50.

Jackson performed at the fair twice with the Jackson Five in 1971.

Okay, now that it's been over a week...

I just want to say that I hope we remember Michael Jackson like we remember Howard Hughes -- as the freak he became, not the person he was.

Discovery of anesthetic at Michael Jackson's home

11:41 AM | July 3, 2009

The discovery of a powerful sedative at the home where Michael Jackson died last week raises the stakes in the investigation of the entertainer's death. The Times reported Thursday that a law enforcement source said that propofol was among the drugs recovered from the Holmby Hills mansion. Propofol, marketed under the brand name Diprivan, is a potent anesthetic intended for use in surgical and clinical settings.

Geez, he's not even buried yet. Have some respect for the dead!

I've been watching the funeral. I haven't seen Corey Feldman or Macauley Culkin. Those two are probably breathing a sigh of relief right now.

This isn't targeting any one person's comments, just my thoughts on his death. I'm really frustrated and saddened by the negative comments towards MJ as a person. If you listen to interviews from him or his siblings you'll quickly realize that his father was overly harsh and mistreated these kids. I will agree that he was a very "odd" adult, however, his father did not allow him to have a childhood. I can honestly see where MJ would have the midset of "hey, I'm inviting friends over for a sleepover at age 30" because he never had the chance to do this as a child. Even now watching Michael's dad on these interviews post-death he seems almost excited as this is his chance to make even more money and get more fame.

Secondly, with the sexual assault cases - he was proven innocent by a court. He didn't get off on his own accord. These boys have already emerged saying that their parents made them do it for the money. The world is all about money these days and it's so sad, that this man who is now dead is still being ridiculed for many things he had no control over. The way a person is raised has a lot to do with their character traits and actions - and so yes, psychologically Michael Jackson had a much altered mindset than most grown adults, but he is dead, let him be. The jokes really aren't cute and for grown adults - quite immature.

where...find me a credible news source with this.....you won't because there is none...its not true..

many people grow up in bad families where their father neglects and/or beats the crap out of them, and most of them don't grow up playing with little boys bootyholes.

the only sympathy he gets from me is the fact that if he was unsaved he is now facing anguish and pain we can not even begin to describe.

also our justice system frequently imprisons the innocent and frees the guilty, sorry, that arguement isn't valid.

mj is more than likely a pedophile who just happened to dance and sing well 20 YEARS AGO.

What does disrespecting the dead do? Is dying a trump card for criticism and ridicule? At most is diminishes a memory or a testament to character. Which had been done for the last 15 years. And that's the price of fame. Is the money worth it? Probably not in his case because he turned into such a freak show.

I hope he was saved. Other then that I have no respect for the child molestor. If he was not guilty why did he settle a case out of court for 20 million dollars? I believe that was the case.

He hadn't been a devout JW in a long, long time. In fact he reportedly had converted to Islam in the last year.

Somehow, that possibility does not make me more optimistic about his eternal destiny. :(

I was sooooooooooooo tempted to go sarcastic with this post, but that would have neen wrong.

His insurance company settled over the objections of MJ and his attorneys.

Also things in life are often not what they seem.
