i really wish i could quote eminem lyrics on here to show you how incredibly contradictory that last statement is. if Weezy doesn't have meat to his raps then "slim Shady" doesn't have meat or bone.

No freaking kidding man, Slim doesnt even take himself seriously...without a doubt he's talented and is one of the greatest angry rappers of all time but thats every 1 out of 30 songs

correction Eminem has meat to his raps, you have to look at Eminem songs and Shady songs differently though, they are 2 different entities, Shady is the crazy one, Em is the serious one
I can name 2 songs of any seriousness by em. Toy soldiers.( still talks about guns and shooting up people) and stan(still talks about stuff) and maybe halie's song.

Toy Soldiers is sick, I Am is pretty intense but really that's about it...he's a clown for the most part and he'd admit to that...no body could ever blame weezy for selling out compared to a white rapper in his underwear in one of his first videos just so he can be on TRL

idk i just think talent wise he is disgusting... forget skin color, just look at what he has done, he can rap better then 95% of the people out there right now, Rick Ross thought twice about calling him out,

Weezy said he doesnt want to start a beef with Em cause he knows Em would destroy him

true but still, even just lyrics outright, compare between weezy and em and em wins easily

But I'm with you with Em, I really think he could be at the top if he was in the booth as much as Weezy is but he's not...and he doesnt want to be...his catalog is just to small to try and justify...you naming his top songs just a minute ago listed about half of his entire database

He's your favorite, which is cool different people relate to different rappers...I'm not a Nas guy but I respect him enough to know he's on a top list but I still cant quote him...there's just a big difference between greatest alive and "my favorite rapper"

i think from when he left to now he has been in the booth a whole lot to be honest, he is putting out what could be 2 solid albums this year...

and to FFG i will have to let you listen to the re-up so you can see the truth

but 2/3 of the time its as a producer helping 50 with his album and Dre with Detox...I mean he said himself he's putting his own stuff on hold to finish up 50 (b/c 50 needs a good album after that last waste of time) and Dre b/c well...it's been 10 years in the making and I'm still not even sure if it'll be hot...they say Dre has about 100 songs right now for the album and he's trying to narrow it down...it still sounds to much like old school west coast stuff though if you ask me from the leaks I've heard

http://www.zshare.net/audio/5893457741d070f8/ please listen to that. I think overall weezy is the total package. so is Jay-z. Weezy is training rappers like Nicki and others i've never seen em try to take a rapper under his wing. correct me if i'm wrong. I know Jay-z did. I think a lot of this has to do with where we are all from too. I'm from Atlanta. home of jermaine dupree, so so deff, T.I., lil jon(who is no good at rap but can freaking drop some of the nastiest beats ever.) and other rappers of the like. so i'm used to stuff like that. Weezy is a pioneer as well. if you havent listened to prom queen you should the video is sick. but anyway. just rambling now. haha

you should ask third who he thinks the best rapper alive is :D i'll give you a hint its not T.I.

anything other then this guy is unacceptable

I agree, but by saying him, you have to include those he is responsible for... (namely Kanye, but others as well).

Proof, Ca$his, Obie Trice... there a lot of guys that Em has taken under his wings,

listen to No Apologies or Public Enemy #1 where Em just goes off

btw, Proof has to be on the list, he was hot and was taken way to soon.... another guy we have forgotten Lupe Fiasco
