I just watched Green Street Hooligans and it was freaking amazing. It's a soccer movie. It focuses more on the "firms" (aka hooligans) and the things with them. I loved it. I'll admit it has some language in it but that's too be expected. It is one of those movies that if they tried to tame it then it wouldn't be nearly as good.

Still love "Eye of the Tiger" theme song; Toe Pick was funny (and had some of that "charged" atmosphere that I like)
Cinderella Man was good-too bad turnout was said to have been affected by Crowe's temper
Forgot sledding- Cool Runnings abt. Jamaican bobsled team
baseball- my husband has those Red Sox Champion. dvd's (friend of mine has pick of Damon on their frig. w/ caption "Not Wanted" and some reasons...incl. that his appearance has changed )
golf- there is one that I have to remember; little guy was his caddie, father showed up last min.as he was winning champ. (had thought he should be spending time earning a living, so he followed through on promise for a while), won against childhood idol; I did enjoy Bagger Vance but can't remember much

I watched Green Street Hooligans a second time yesterday. My brother watched it with me and then watched it again later in the day. It is simply amazing.

Glancing through, I didn't see a couple of good flicks listed...
-Rudy (although it isn't always listed as a 'sports' movie)
-The Rookie (Who doesn't dream of being signed by a major league club after they turn 40...even if it is the Devil Rays)
-Chicago Cubs World Series Championship DVD (I can dream, can't I?)

The Cubs blew their shot of going to the World Series a couple of years ago. That was their best shot. They aint going that far for a long time.
