You guys talked me out of giving this season a shot. Don't make me regret it.

Sly - Watch it this season!! I hated the past 2 and gave this a shot. Looks like they are going back to what made it successful. I enjoyed it last night. The only annoying thing is the constant reminder of jack being prosecuted - who cares - just let him do it his way and kick some...

I also think that Tony is going to end up being good - that's going to be the twist. He wants to be the next Jack Bauer - and he is just mad that Jack showed up again!!

One thing I want to know...when Jack was negotiating with the FBI chick (very hot btw...gotta love a redhead) why did he not ask for immunity from his trial before he agreed to anything?

I can see the whole Tony thing....when he "died" he was taken off to the hospital...where he would have to be listed as dead. They bury somebody else, the FBI/whoever then have him at their disposal...

But to play Devils Advocate with that theory...why the heck would he keep the name Tony Almedia?

I agree with the immunity - my wife and I couldn't believe that!!

The name thing is a little weird, unless they are going to play the whole "My country screwed me" card as a cover?

He doesn't care about his immunity....He wants the whole truth out and to be judged by his peers....he said that!

He can still do all that without getting himself in jail for 20 years. But hey, cross over opportunity alert....

He could get placed in jail and then they can have Lincoln and Michael bust him out!!!!

Yeah, and Jack Bauer values his country above his personal interests. It's what separates him from the real criminals.

Come on - when are we going to recognize that Jack has save our Country at least 7 times and he has done in under 24 hours each time!!! That is efficiency!!! This guy is the best agent we have ever had - he is like Rambo, Terminator, Iron Man and Batman rolled into one.

Is the President's husband bugging anyone else? That story line is going to end up being the next "Jack's Daughter saga" sub plot that brings the show down.

The president's son dying is going to tie in somehow to the whole Africa thing. It's an important sub-plot.

OK TDD - the bet is on. I say they won't do that. Maybe - he was the one laundering the money for the contractors?

From what I gathered, he was about to identify who it was that was laundring money from the inside. It was said he was a day or two from presenting evidence to President mom--so, I'd imagine someone was watching him closely from the inside.

The storylines always add up somewhere. That's just my guess.

I'm really liking the plot so far. The whole CTU-gone-black thing is awesome. I clapped out loud when they revealed Bill and Chloe. So much going on, and it's all connected. No mountain lions... yet. This season already feels completely different from the others, and that's a good thing for the show, IMO.

Wow, good episode tonight. I knew the secret service agent was dirty, though. It will be interesting to see how that whole thing plays out. I really hope Renée survives -- I think her role as the female Jack Bauer of the FBI has some real potential. If she's anywhere near as tough as a female Bauer should be, she'll make it.

That male analyst is dirty in more ways than one. Besides cheating on his wife, he's up to something. He's part of the plot.

I can't wait to see the standoff next week. Who will Tony choose? Jack obviously, but does that mean CTU's cover will be blown?

I'm glad Billy Ocean is still alive.

Yeah. Really a great episode. I think Renee will be fine? Where did jack shoot her? I assume he grazed her head or neck? They will bury her, but not deep enough where she won't be able to get out. At some point Jack and Tony are going to turn on the bad guys they are working with. From the looks of the preview that will happen next week.

I'm curious if the vice president is going to be killed or if he and the girlfriend are going to somehow get out of that mess. It doesn't look good for either of them though.

We've got some great story lines...looking forward to next week.

I am thoroughly enjoying this season. An episode or two down the line, they're going to run out of people to kill. They've killed just about everybody! Chloe is next, and then her husband and baby. But seriously, this has been a great season. Poor Bill, nobody wanted to see him go.

another great episode last night. It was sad to see Bill die but you have to wonder with 24, is he really dead?

He looked pretty dead. Plus he got the silent clock; i don't know if that's happened to someone who didn't die (except Palmer at the end of season 2)

Hopefully the president's husband will pull through after the surgery....so they can try to kill him for the third time.

Yeah, I think he's dead. You can try that trick once, like with Almeida, but if you do it again its pretty lame.

Bill was laying there for quite awhile...with no attention. It would be very hard to explain. Mason and Chapelle both suffered the same fate...it was just time for Bill to go.
