I have the current Blackberry Curve. It is a great phone. It does sync with my LU email although not directly. It takes at the most 3 minutes to update my email.

Nope. I just really enjoy gadgetry that much. I know the iPhone isn't perfect, because I own one. I could provide Apple with a decent list of things I'd like to see fixed or improved. It's still my favorite phone I've ever owned, however, and I've owned a bunch. (Various Motorolas, Palms, an HTC, a Sidekick, etc.)

The ONLY drawback is privacy. Text messages just pop up unlike the BB.

Settings -> Passcode Lock -> Show SMS Preview -> Set it to "OFF"

scorcho, tethering/text vid/chat - better camera. not huge things. the iphone keyboard i like better even though i hate touchscreens. better gps functionality. (oh look i'm on this street) who cares, i have a 50 dollar hunting gps that will do the same thing.

Cool, thanks. I hear AT&T is about to make tethering available for the iPhone...for a fee. Lame. Every iPhone is already required to have their unlimited data plan and they want to tack on a charge for tethering? No thanks. The rest makes sense. The iPhone's camera sucks, period. I really like texting on the iPhone, but there is certainly no video. Which also sucks.

I am one of those people. If my brain could be wired into the Internet, I'd probably do it at this point. It'd save me from carpal tunnel.

OK...I got the Blackberry Curve 8350i (it came out yesterday, this is the newer curve with wifi) yesterday and it is AWFUL (relax sly let me explain!) Nextel's network is a joke. The reception is awful and you cant even get texts you have to "download" them...unreal



The phone itself is great...I'm going to switch to the older curve which is on the Sprint network so I can enjoy much faster speeds for internet and PAM (phone as modem)

Yes and no....they are separate in terms of ONLY Iden phones can use the nextel towers and only CDMA phones can use the Sprint towers...same company but you have to switch your service from CDMA to IDEN if you want to switch to a phone like I have now

OK...switched to the CDMA curve and it's sick...sickest sprint phone without a doubt. It can do anything, email is flawless, texting is flawless internet is great (after you download Opera Browser) the Ap's are great all in all this is the best phone and should hold me over until this storm frees up from its contract in a year!

AT&T is coming out with a Curve w/ WiFi as well u should check it out. That was the selling point for me w/ my HTC T-Mobile Dash, I love being able to be in class and get on flamefans without charge threw WiFi

The bold is supposed to be the fastest blackberry to date. It seems to get really good ratings. But then you're stuck with AT&T.
