James Taylor just released an album of covers as well. Got to hear one tonight on Bob Costs' radio show. Sounded pretty good

A ton of covers and VERY well done covers at that....I'm really starting to become a fan
I wish he would put out another album like his '94 self-titled.

also true, and in rotation on my IPOD knockoff as we speak- ironically enough.

*** Also like Pillar's version of Sunday, Bloody Sunday- but that's just my taste. Or lack thereof.

Pillar's version of Sunday Bloody Sunday is okay...

Evergreen Terrace's version, however, makes me want to remove my eardrums to make the pain go away.

Oh, and to add my 2 cents to this discussion...

All Time Low's version of "Umbrella" by Rihanna is one of my favorite cover songs, as well as BEDlight for blueEYES version of "Jumper" by 3rd Eye Blind.

Ok first of all doing a cover of ANY U2 song IS blasphemy (just thought I would throw the topic in from another thread!)

Also, forgot another of my favorites- Fear Factory CARS (Gary Newman)

System of a Down did a version of "shame on a NWORD" originally by Wu-Tang at Ozzfest in 98....it was pretty good.
