Wow, calls us intellectual cowards and then runs away.

Anyway, I think I found LU's next online pipeline. We can tap this well and close it off once it runs dry:

Schools have been doing this with wine and liquor distilling as well. Of course, they're very popular courses as you'd expect.

they add that to their course load of Gender Studies, Feminist Thought, Video Games and Culture, Race in Film and then continue to blame the fact they can't get a job on white male patriarchy

Actually, the craft beer industry seems to be predominantly run and fueled by white men

Yeah, man, the [in]sincere reflections from you [un]spiritual giants are so persuasive.

Meanwhile..... An Alabama couple celebrates their 7-month old daughter's successful surgery by doing heroin in the hospital. Result: Mom dies and Dad passes out with a needle in his arm.....hilarious, right? Just one out of 45,000 heroin-related deaths a year and just a wee bit higher than the 11,000 gun homicides annually. Shhh.....don't tell Obama!

El Chapo was recaptured in a shoot-out that just killed five people. All that fuss for a legitimate businessman! Can you believe it? The U.S. indictment against him charged him with 12 murders and the laundering of $14 billion in iPhone sales....(or was it from selling drugs?) :dontgetit

And now, Purple, A-Train, here's the funniest one for you....A pastor friend of mine... (FYI, a "pastor" is a spiritual leader of a church)...well, you see, this guy loves his son and wishes the best for him. But somehow, the harmless things you guys promote, drugs and alcohol, are keeping this young man from living a healthy and productive life (How quaint!...Parents loving their kids. So 1950's, right?). Anyway, with broken hearts (that means, "being sad"), these parents are spending money that they don't have to enroll their son in a rehab program before he loses his life. Isn't that the most ridiculous thing you've ever heard of? Rehab from what, the innocence of alcohol and drugs? Psst!.... I wish you guys could meet this young man and his parents and just assure them that their fears are unfounded. I mean, you two are so enlightened that Buddha himself would be jealous.

Yeah, keep those cogent, logical, and most importantly, Scriptural-based arguments coming. The virtue of your viewpoint is self-evident.

Yeah, still looking for the post where someone endorsed the use of heroin. If you could find that and let me know, that'd be great......
I enjoy the sarcasm but it's completely off the mark. But you are too wrapped up in your own self righteousness and indignation to notice. What your friends are going through are tough. I really hope it is their son that wants to go into the program and not just the parents. Because if the kid doesn't want to go, it is a waste of time and money. If the kid wants to go then good for him and I wish them well. I'm sure you are shocked, and I'd be surprised if you didn't post for another month. But while you are looking for that post on anyone here, especially ATrain and myself, promoting the use of heroin if you could find either the post or Scripture verse that promotes over indulgence of anything that'd be swell too. I'm probably going to need you to work on Saturday for that to get done too.
So just to review:
1. Find the post by anyone, specifically ATrain or myself, where we espouse the virtues of heroine, meth, cocaine of any variant or other hard drugs
2. Find the post where over consumption and abuse were also shown to be something to strive for.
3. If you can do neither, do a case study on Pharisees and Sadducees and how they might apply in your case.
4. Extra Credit - Gluttony is so cool and how Golden Corral is ancient Assyrian for Ba'al's kitchen table

You told me to use Scripture and I did. You have yet to refute my points. Your post was all about being condescending (that means, talking down to) towards me, Purple and others who disagree with you and using arguments that were not germane (that means relevant) to the conversation about the points that we made that alcohol, as long as you are not consuming to excess, is ok in moderation and that maybe marijuana in small quantities is ok as well. No one is advocating for heroin, meth, cocaine, etc.

Now, if you can stop acting like a Pharisee and have a conversation like a mature adult, that would be great.
